Job Description Fargate JD Total experience of ~7-10 years as DevOps Engineer Minimum 3 days to work from NXP Bangalore office Location Bangalore (client location) Responsibilities. Building, managing and setting up new system development tools and infrastructure for release. Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers and test engineers to deliver complex topics/epics by taking ownership and collaborating with cross functional teams. Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes Testing and examining code written by others and analysing issues plus results Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes Working with software developers, test engineers to ensure that feature development follows established quality release processes and works as intended Help in planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions. Skills required to be successful in the role. Experience working closely within a product development environment / scrum team Experience in system performance and Infra capacity benchmarking against KPIs Experience in monitoring and debugging systems against KPIs Relevant certifications to substantiate technical experience Knowledge of programming languages mainly Java and postgreSQL database. Strong problem-solving skills, Good attention to detail Excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles. Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process for PaaS and SaaS applications by accessing tools like Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Bamboo, Spinnaker. Additionally used and aware of CI tools such as dependency tracker, Nexus OSS-vulnerability scanner, SonarQube and Coverity. Experience in Source Control version tools such as Bitbucket & Git. Hands-on experience in using configuration management tools like Ansible, AWS CFT, Helm. Hands-on experience to build and handle VM s, Containers utilizing tools like Kubernetes, Docker, AWS Fargate. Proficiency in AWS Fargate is a must Hands-on experience in building, designing and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure. Hands-on experience in system observability aspects leveraging Datadog or AppDynamics tools and chaos engineering practices. Working in regulation with industry-standard best practices in close coordination with integration and deployment team. Bring in effective leadership and cross-functional communication skills.
