Finance & Power BI Analyst

The Role

The Finance & Power BI Analyst is a vital role within the Blenheim Chalcot portfolio and our EdTech venture, Avado. You will manage financial processes including budgeting, expense tracking, payments, and compliance to help keep the company financially healthy. You will also develop, maintain, and enhance financial reports and dashboards using Power BI and other tools, enabling informed decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve financial reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools.
• Manage budgeting, expense tracking, payment processing, and ensure tax and legal compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Support financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities.
• Help identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data-driven analysis.

About You

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment, embraces change, and has a proven track record of delivering impactful financial analysis and reporting. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial audiences are essential.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard creation.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
• Experience with SQL, Power Query, or other data manipulation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
