The Role

This is a unique opportunity for experienced professionals to advance their career by playing a key role in establishing and developing a Centre of Excellence that drives efficiency, standardisation, and automation. You will collaborate closely with teams in Navi Mumbai and London and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the ICT Service Desk by accurately recording all incidents, service requests, and Requests for Change (RFCs) received via phone or email into the Service Management Tool (SMT).
  • Communicate effectively with users through phone, email, and intranet channels.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by taking ownership of incidents and resolving issues promptly.
  • Participate actively in IT service improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technically accurate and timely solutions to users.
  • Maintain the accuracy of SMT databases, including user information and relocations.
  • Update and expand the Knowledgebase with helpful articles and documentation.
  • Keep users regularly informed about the status of incident resolutions.
  • Liaise with external maintenance suppliers as required.

About You

The ideal candidate has experience in customer service, preferably in IT support, and a strong problem-solving mindset. You bring:

  • Proven experience working in a customer service environment, ideally IT-related.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, analytical approach to process and performance improvement.
  • Ability to diagnose technical faults quickly and accurately via phone and remote assistance tools.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, hardware, systems software installation, and support.
  • Understanding of PC hardware components, peripherals, and common business applications such as Microsoft Office suites, web browsers, and Microsoft Exchange email clients.
  • A resilient, inclusive mindset with the ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and make effective decisions.
