Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Design and propose solutions that are simple for client, valuable to business and efficient at solving the problem-at-hand.
  • Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for validating proof of concept and to drive usability/user testing.
  • Collaborate with the product, design and analytics teams, to solve problems related to customer acquisition, activation, retention, referral and revenue.
  • Conduct and participate in design reviews with a range of stakeholders across the organization.
  • Stay informed and on top of the industry trends and advancements in the field of user experience.

Requirements / what you should have

  • Strong knowledge of UX principles, usability techniques and UI patterns.
  • Demonstrated history of acquiring user data (e.g, Using Product analytics, and conducting usability studies, performing user research) to shape the design decisions and guiding the team to do the same.
  • A strong track record of iterative design, working closely with customers, peers and developers from inception through implementation.
  • Expertise with various Wire-framing, prototyping, usability testing and presentation tools. Eg: Sketch, Figma, XD, Invision Principal, Keynote etc.
  • Extensive experience with design software such as Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Ability to communicate design concepts appropriately and effectively to different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesis feedback and input from relevant stakeholders.
  • Capacity to own and drive the design process by independently defining requirements, scoping projects, and prioritising tasks.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Academics & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience as a UX designer / Product designer / Interaction designer or similar role.
  • Bachelors/Masters in Interaction Design.
  • Prior experience in working for a successful e-commerce organizations will be an added advantage.
