Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with ability to be hands-on on developing/building automation to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer experience. Deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with larger team cloud, support, and the product teams. Scope: In this role, you will be involved in working on automation tasks related to Cloud Infrastructure and Application. The role may involve developing web and scripting-based automation solutions as well as CI/CD pipelines. Primary Responsibilities: Develop Web and Scripting based automation solution to automate day to day tasks. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable development plans. Build hybrid Cloud Infrastructure workflows leveraging CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins, Azure Devops, Git Actions Partner with application and Infrastructure team for development and testing of automation solution. Design, engineer, and implement Infrastructure as a code with API first approach. Review the existing automation repositories and find opportunities for consolidation and building common framework. Help design, build, and cultivate adoption of automation across all layers. Participate in the project management decision making process. Build self-service framework to automate tasks to delegate control and execute tasks in background. Build automation for fixing bugs, system upgrades, database upgrades. What we are looking for: Bachelor s degree (STEM preferred) and minimum of 7-8 years of relevant work experience as an IT automation engineer/SRE/ or Devops engineer; Ideal candidate should have progressive experience in design, development, Infrastructure engineering and Cloud computing. The right candidate should have knowledge of Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, SQL, Networking technologies, Git Actions etc. Solid understanding of cloud Infrastructure environments, specifically Linux/Unix, Windows based deployments. Excellent SQL skills and ability to write complex queries to pull and analyze data from multiple sources. Good understanding of different file formats such as YML, JSON, Parquet. Good knowledge of automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform) Extensive experience in Infrastructure as a code in multi cloud environments. Extensive experience in working with Hybrid cloud environment Azure/Amazon/GCP Ability to work independently under minimum guidance. Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills, able to take a systematic approach in resolving issues.
