Devops Engineer Job in Blueshift Labs

Responsibilities

• Build deployment automation for hundreds of microservices, multiple datastores, and multiple data centers spanning globally
• Hands on implementation and management of complex virtualized environments
• Implement scale-up / scale-down strategies based on various utilization metrics
• Build and manage monitoring dashboards for use by SRE team
• Implement application logging and tracing stacks
• Manage infrastructure cost and cloud spend
• Design and deploy new applications/services
• Implement disaster recovery plans
• Work closely with development teams for staging and test setups

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with building and deploying AWS or other public cloud infrastructure scaling to hundreds of nodes
• Strong programming skills to enable automation of complex tasks
• Extensive knowledge of DevOps tools & processes using Terraform, Docker, ECS/Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Chef, etc
• Curiosity and drive to research new technologies that help better the deploy process
