Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer

Location: Work from home (permanently)

Salary: Up to 13 LPA

Experience: 4+ years

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Determining the structure and design of web pages.

Ensuring user experience determines design choices.

Developing features to enhance the user experience.

Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.

Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.

Building reusable code for future use.

Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.

Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.

Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.

An eye to detail.

DESIRED SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

4+ years of experience in writing client-side JavaScript, CSS, HTML.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient understanding of modern web tech stack including HTML5, CSS3 and ES6.

Good understanding of ReactJS/Redux or similar technologies.

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and Gulp.

Knowledge & experience of frontend optimisation techniques and tools (eg. Lighthouse).

Handy with the shell and automation tools.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).

Experience in CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Tailwind etc.

Experience in working & optimizing large frontend applications.

Knowledge in writing Unit, Functional & Regression tests.

Hands-on experience of using version control systems.

Hand on experience on API integration.

Hands on experience of using a Linux based system.
