- Salary Range: ₹3 LPA – ₹6.5 LPA | Internship Stipend: ₹0–₹15,000/month
Job Purpose
Drive revenue growth through sales of travel packages, flights, hotels, and tours. Build strong client relationships while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Collaborate with internal teams to achieve business objectives and expand market reach.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Generation
- Identify, qualify, and convert potential clients including individuals, corporates, and travel partners.
- Promote domestic and international tour packages, corporate deals, and customized travel plans.
- Execute outbound calls, online meetings, and email campaigns to generate leads and close deals.
- Upsell and cross-sell services such as hotel bookings, flight tickets, visa assistance, and insurance.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with customers through consistent engagement and follow-ups.
- Handle client queries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain a high level of client retention and referral business.
3. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor travel trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences.
- Recommend promotional strategies and travel offers based on market insights.
- Suggest improvements in product offerings to align with industry trends.
4. Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client communications in CRM.
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and share key insights with the management.
- Coordinate with operations, marketing, and customer service teams for seamless client experience.
5. Customer Experience
- Ensure end-to-end support during booking, itinerary changes, and post-travel assistance.
- Deliver exceptional service standards to enhance brand reputation and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical / Professional Skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Knowledge of GDS booking systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of travel destinations, packages, and customer needs.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Soft Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Active listening and empathy to understand client needs.
- Integrity and professionalism to build trust with customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
- Problem-solving, adaptability, and creativity in solutions.
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Travel or sales certifications are a plus.
- 0–3 years in sales or travel/tourism industry.
