Strategic:
- Formulate strategy/approach to guide Departments /Teams achievement of their target outcomes (Predictability , Quality, Efficiency) through application of agile methods
- Provide though leadership and aid management in designing/enabling the underlying system to support application & sustenance of agile practices and culture
- Facilitate identification and removal of systemic impediments for adoption of agile methods
Tactical/Operational:
- Work directly with teams to implement and improve agile values, principles, and practices (from Scrum, Kanban and scaling frameworks like SaFe, LeSS etc)
- Mentor and coach Product Owners and Scrum Masters into fulfilling their role objectives
- Help build strong collaborative self -organizing teams.
- Cultivate an environment of transparency, trust and safety where problems can be surfaced without fear
- Guide and coach teams maintain a shared visual workspace(physical or electronic)
- Design and establish appropriate metrics to enable teams to continuously inspect and adapt
- Assess teams' health of agile practices and coaching them to desired levels
- Serve as a consultant when required to provide solutions that facilitate agile transformation
- Keep up with the Agile/Scrum community within and outside Bosch and educate the team in new tactics/techniques
Qualifications
Qualifications
Required:
BE/B.Tech Electronics/Electrical/computer science/Mechanical
Minimum of 12 years of professional work experience
Agile Practitioner:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in project that was diligently applying Agile/Scrum practices as a Product Owner/Agile Master/Agile Team member
Knowledge and/or experience with well documented Agile, Scrum tactics/techniques: Planning poker, Burndown/burn up, CFD, retrospective formats etc
Teaching & Mentoring:
Ability to provide training in structured(classroom) and unstructured environments
Ability to share knowledge and skills that foster personal and professional growth of others
Professional Coaching:
Ability to partner with teams in a thought-provoking and creative way that inspires them to maximize their potential
Ability discover their needs, encourage self-discover and self-generated solutions
Ability to firmly hold them accountable for the committed improvements/action
Facilitation:
Ability to function as a neutral facilitator who can guide teams through processes that help them come to solutions and make decisions
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization
Transformation:
Ability to effect positive change in the teams/organization as a change catalyst
Additional Information
Desired:
- Certified Agile Coach
- Certified SAFe Agilist or similar
- Completion of Bosch Internal Agile training programs or external Agile/Scrum Coach or Scrum Master certifications
- Knowledge of tools like Miro , Jira , Atlassian tool chains or similar for Agile project management
- Knowledge of Web applications and Software based projects
- Knowledge of technical practices like TDD, CI, pair programming, automated testing, CI CD Devops
