Job Purpose:

The job holder is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the taWeb transfer agency product.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the scrum team to deliver committed scope on time with high quality and Accountable for scrum team performance, throughput and quality (individual not scrum velocity). Accountable for ensuring the work undertaken by their scrum team is ready for development

Development and coding capability using .Net Core, C#, Web API, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL

Analyze technical and functional issues reported by clients

Writing technical specifications and design solutions

Develop high quality code meeting Bravura development standards to resolve the issues

Undertake unit and integration testing and provide User acceptance testing support

Providing technical and implementation support

Liaise with customers to understand the problems, provide solutions or workarounds and at times guide/train the users in using the application

Conducting code reviews and providing feedback

Accountable for the scrums work estimation

Constantly looking for ways to increase their scrum team s velocity / productivity

Required Skills:

Technical:

4+ years of development experience on .Net Core, C#, Web API, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL

Should have Prior experience of Product Development and/or Maintenance and support of Banking/Insurance applications.

An ability to quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of primary and subsidiary applications

A proven understanding of industry standard software development life cycles.

Proficient in middle tier service framework design using .Net Core, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Web API, LINQ, ADO.Net, Entity Framework etc.

Good Knowledge of SQL Server including database design concepts, T-SQL, Jobs, creating complex stored procedures

Experience in building solutions to implement CI/CD will be added advantage

Strong knowledge in SOAP/REST based APIs

Experience in HTML and CSS, Angular 4/5, jQuery, Bootstrap, PowerShell scripting

Experience working in an agile environment, ideally scrum model

Deployment and Configuration experience

Excellent analytical and debugging skills.

Secondary/Advantageous Skills:

BDD Behaviour Driven Design experience using Specflow and Gherkin would be a distinct advantage

Experience of writing automated UI tests using Selenium

Working within an Agile /Scrum Environment

Familiarity with Jenkins or similar CI integration tools

Financial Services with pensions experience would be advantageous.

Knowledge of TFS and Third-party UI tools like Kendo, Telerik will be an added advantage.

Experience in Finance domain will be an added advantage.

Systematic, logical thinker with excellent attention to detail, but able to take a holistic view of the delivery and its associated processes.

Qualification & Experience:

MCA/B.E./B Tech

5-10 Years of experience

Minimum 4+ years in software development experience using .Net technologies primarily C#
