Job Summary

DESCRIPTION: The Head Partnership is a leadership position for Bright Future and is responsible for building, maintaining partnerships and also be responsible for delivery of the partnership programs for Bright Future programs (Livelihood and Step to Livelihood). The role is also responsible for corporate partnerships for grants, placement support of our students, communication and innovation support. This role is key for Bright Future for delivering on its vision by creating industry ready talent and ensuring that there are job opportunities for them. RESPONSIBILITIES: Partnership Management (70%) identify, Develop networking and partnership strategy and plan in consultation with the CEO Engage with partners (corporates, trusts, foundations and fundraisers to gain financial and pro-bono support) Maintain and develop relationships with partner organizations; explore opportunities to bring new potential partners to expand Bright Future work in terms of grant management, placement and volunteer support. Design and execute events, meetings, consultations, etc., to represent Bright future in various platforms and thereby managing effective functioning of networks and partnerships and gain visibility for the organization. Ensure that all the program meets its targets with Quality delivery to achieve Bright Future s objectives. To monitor and guide the team at Bright Future to ensure smooth functioning of projects. Further to lead by example to all the program team and the aspirants / students. To utilize and manage budgets as per the plan to allow Bright Future realize the program objectives at their full potential. To provide feedback on monthly, quarterly, six monthly and yearly reports and ensure timely submission of reports to build healthy relationship with partners Identify new avenues and opportunities for replication, scale up of programs and possible partnership with current and new partners Institutionalize strong systems and processes including program execution and automating the processes wherever appropriate for efficiency and effectiveness Generate revenue through the program Cross functional Responsibilities (30%) Support/collaborate with the communication team in developing the Corporate Marketing and Branding strategy for the organization Support CEO office for communication strategies for new program initiatives Support innovation team in collecting, reviewing donor and internal management reports to ensure high quality reports are submitted accurately and on time. Also support in reviewing and streamline the data reporting formats to reduce the effort spent by the team on analysis and documentation Support Innovation team in research, needs and impact assessment to support in improvement of training for our aspirants (whenever required) Essential responsibilities of the role Play an active role to collectively strategize, plan and monitor overall organizational functioning. Coordinate and maintain a healthy working relationship among internal and external stakeholders. Represent the vertical as the spokesperson of the vertical Play an active role in the overall growth and development of the organization including its financial health and systemic robustness. Build and nurture a great/ strong team by hiring, cultivating a culture of high performance through clear work allocation, accountability mechanisms and developing effective team dynamics. Identify capacity building needs and ensure that those needs are met Review performances of the team members and provide guidance, mentorship and support to them. Ensure to adhere and uplifting the Bright Future culture, policy, rules and regulations. Reporting to CEO regarding achievement of targets and progress of programs against outcomes Support the CEO in new programs in terms of strategy, communication support etc. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Qualifications: Any master s degree, preferable MBA (Operation) or Masters social sciences or Masters in social work Years of Experience : Total 12- 15 years in operations roles, out of which at least 7 years should have been in leadership role managing large teams, social sector experience in leadership roles is highly preferred. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE 1. Knowledge of social structure and challenges faced by adolescents and youths (Specific to 13 to 25yrs) and how parents play a role in the same 2. Understanding of correlation of Education and livelihood and its challenges also able to design solution to the same 3. Knowledge of Financial implications of the programs 4. Deep Understanding of the Entire Social and Economic details of the education space and able to translate it into actionable strategies at the ground level 5. Theoretical and practical concepts of running a similar program - should be able to provide inputs on program design and operations best practices based on experience 6. Knowledge and Experience of managing teams with ability to work with both direct repartees and their team members. Should be able to understand and manage expectations and requirements of team members and support their learning and growth while ensuring delivery of work REQUIRED SKILLS Planning, Networking, Organization, Team Management, Project Management, Budget Management, Financial Planning and Analysis, Stakeholder Management, Business Acumen and Leadership, Problem Solving, Analytical Skills, MS-Office Proficiency, Oral and Written Communication, Language Skills (Regional/Hindi/English)
