Engineering Position With Expertise In Board Bring-up Skills In Network Equipment Job in Broadcom

Job Description:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Electronics / Electrical Engineering.
Typically 8-12 years of professional experience with board bring up with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Building and Debugging Linux kernel, boot loader, drivers.
Writing make files for multi component software
Working in networking components in the Linux Kernel
Strong programming skills in C and C++
Strong scripting skills like, shell scripting, Python, Perl.
Knowledge of Switching and Routing protocols Preferred.
Knowledge of PHYs, LED programming, assembly programming preferred.
Good knowledge of cross platform tool chains and running bare metal programs on target platforms
Good knowledge of CPU architecture that includes ARM, X86 and MIPS
Good knowledge of ONIE, U-Boot
Hands on experience in the following: Serial driver, PCIE, RTC, CPLD, FPGA, GPIO, SPI, I2C.
Good understanding of different file systems, NOR and NAND flash.
Debugging experience using hardware tools like Trace32 and Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscope, J- Tag, BDI3000 is a Plus
Experience in Pre and Post silicon Development environment, OS porting and bring up on emulators, simulators and development boards GPIO configurations
CI/CD experience using Jenkins, Git is preferred
Enthusiastic, Quick Learner and passionate about programming
A team player with good Social Skills
