Software Test Engineer Position Code QA001

Experience 2 to 4 years

Qualifications B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.S/M.Tech in Computer Science/IT from a reputed institution We are looking for a Test Engineer to develop and execute automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using appropriate tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Manage virtual test environments
• Planning/Managing support of multiple versions of SaaS products in a continuous integration/deployment environment
• Discuss with business people across the globe and create and / or maintain acceptance tests

Requirements

• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios, and executing the same.
• Experience in all the aspects of the product/system like function, performance, regression, security testing.
• Experience in manual and automated testing of web applications and web services using tools like Selenium, SoapUI, Wapt, JMeter etc.
• Experience in using defect-tracking tools
• Working knowledge of databases
• Experience working in an Agile development process
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment Git, TeamCity, Go CD etc.
• Experience with scripting languages like python, perl, bash, powershell preferred.
• Experience in a product based environment supporting frequent releases and multiple versions
• Experience with quality concerns throughout the software development cycle
• Good communication skills, oral and written
