Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or in a similar e-commerce development role.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid.
• Familiarity with Shopify API, app development, and third-party app integrations.
• Understanding of e-commerce best practices and user experience design.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Certification in Shopify development is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shopify Store Development
  • Build, maintain, and enhance Shopify stores, ensuring responsive design and excellent user experience.
  • Customize themes to reflect the brand identity and meet specific business goals.
• E-commerce Functionality
  • Implement and optimize core e-commerce features: product pages, carts, checkout flows, payment gateways, and customer accounts.
  • Configure and integrate third-party Shopify apps to extend store capabilities.
• Theme Customization
  • Modify and tailor Shopify themes based on UI/UX designs and branding guidelines.
  • Ensure cross-device compatibility and fast performance.
• Back-End Development
  • Use Shopify Liquid for advanced template customization.
  • Integrate stores with external APIs and back-end systems where needed.
• Quality Assurance
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure websites are bug-free, fast, and fully functional.
  • Collaborate with QA and dev teams to resolve issues and optimize performance.
• Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with designers, marketers, and fellow developers to bring concepts to life.
  • Participate in planning sessions and contribute ideas for improvements, new features, and optimization strategies.

Preferred Skills:

• Shopify Developer Certification (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices specific to e-commerce.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Shopify analytics, or other web tracking tools.
