Automation Test Engineer Job in Cactus Communications Pvt. Ltd.

Responsibilities:

• You will work as a QA Engineer (Automation) on one or more products targeted towards the scientific community.
• You will be responsible for:
  • Defining test cases
  • Documenting test cases
  • Implementing test cases
  • Working with developers to test and refine their software
• As a QA Engineer, you are the person ultimately making sure that our B2B and B2C products go out in the best possible quality.
• We expect you to be able to
  • Write, maintain and define end-to-end tests using software like Selenium or other end-to-end testing tools
  • Perform and report on manual testing of applications
  • Understand the context and intention of the application to help decide if something is a bug or not
• You will be part of a team working on B2B and B2C products, and you will need to engage with and understand the product domain.

Requirements (Desires skills & experience)

• You have at minimum 4 years of experience working with QA of web based software products.
• Knowledge of API testing.
• Proficient working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge on CICD tools like Git, Maven & Jenkins would be a plus.
• You are motivated, curious and independent, with a desire to learn, and be a part of a growing company.
• You are motivated to learn from people with deep industry insights but also willing to challenge and question decisions, and ask intelligent questions.
• Critical thinking, communications and process skills are a must.
