Skills

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, AngularJS, REACT etc
• Experience in cloud based environments like AWS and/or Azure.
• Familiarity with CSS precompilers like SASS, LESS
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN etc
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
• Able to design mobile-based features
• Ability to create quality mockups and prototypes
• Good understanding of JSON / XML and usage of API
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
• Experience with WordPress (as a CMS) and familiarity with PHP
