We are looking for a skilled Java Technical Lead to architect and develop highly scalable, available, and fault-tolerant services. This role involves mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, driving adoption of new technologies, and solving complex problems in distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop scalable microservices and backend solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior developers; conduct thorough code reviews.
- Implement advanced microservices patterns like Saga and Event Sourcing.
- Lead planning and execution of major project milestones.
- Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed environments.
- Define and enforce testing standards (unit, integration, end-to-end).
- Promote best practices in development, deployment, and operations.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
- Strong Object-Oriented Analysis & Design skills with common design patterns.
- Deep understanding of Java 11 and JEE internals (class loading, memory management, transactions).
- Expert coding skills in Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Good knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL), SQL, and ORM technologies.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Experience with messaging/queueing systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ in distributed setups.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Datadog, Kibana.
- Understanding of DevOps tools and practices including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficient with version control tools such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
