The role of the project manager is to manage client projects; Plan, coordinate and ensure completion on schedule & within budget. In the context of cloud migrations, a project / program manager is responsible for Application / Server migrations
He / She need to work with all required stakeholders to ensure successful migration of workloads from source to target environment [Public AWS, Azure & Google / Private Cloud]. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.Roles and Responsibilities
Mandatory Skills
Strong Infrastructure project manager, preferably with cloud experience
Effective English Communication Verbal & Non-verbal
Strong working knowledge of project-planning tools like MS Project, MS Excel, MS Power point
Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources
Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations
Developing and Tracking Budgets and Financials
Desired Skills
Cloud Migration Fundamentals
Good understanding of current and emerging Cloud technologies & tools
