Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTIONCapillary Technologies is looking out for exceptional Android Developers who are ready to be part of an energetic and inquisitive team and face challenges head-on. Being a young fledgling company (a little more than just a startup), the incumbent is expected to acquaint themselves with our company culture. We expect the incumbent to bring in best practices and design-led engineering concepts but at the same time respect the existing corporate culture of Capillary and adapt well to our environment
As a member of our team, your responsibilities include:
  • Designing and building mobile applications for the Android platform.
  • Working with outside data sources and APIs.
  • Writing unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
What we re looking for: We re looking for candidates who have 2+ years of experience in developing Android applications with a bachelors/ master s degree from a reputed engineering college.EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONSYou re good at:
  • Development with Android SDK.
  • Working with remote data via REST and JSON.
  • Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  • Using third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Working closely with teams to interface with RESTful API services.
  • Understanding of the quirks of the fragmented ecosystem of Android OS versions and devices
Must-Have: MVVM, Retrofit, EventBus, good knowledge about Activity's and Fragment's lifecycles, Build Variant, Android Profiler, Lint, Firebase FCM, Firebase Deeplinking, Firebase Crashlytics.
Good to have: Google Analytics, NewRelic, WebEngage, Performance SD
