This is a Software Engineer-Metals Digital role at a global grade 14, reporting to the Engineering Manager in India Operations Centre, Process Automation (INOPC PA).This position is based out of Bangalore. You will be primarily responsible to execute assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards.

Your responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
• Prepare project documentation within one€™s scope of deliverables.
• Create work plan and cost estimates in own area of responsibility and ensure quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost.
• Complete risk and opportunity assessments and ensures implementation of resulting actions in one€™s area of responsibility.
• Report processes and tools inefficiencies and suggests improvements ideas.

Your background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in Asp.Net, web API & MVC, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular JS, JQuery, AJAX, MS SQL Server.
• Experience in working with Kendo, Plotly, Bootstrap and other javascript packages would be an added advantage.
• Experience in working with Azure web services and powerBI tools would be an added advantage.
• Strong in Object Oriented Analysis, Design Methodologies & UML.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in performing unit & functional testing.
• Preferred to have experience in Agile methodology.
