Key Responsibilities
As a Security Engineer, your role will include:

Network & System Defense: Monitor, analyze, and defend against cyber threats and intrusions.

Incident Response & Threat Hunting: Actively hunt for potential threats, conduct thorough incident responses, and analyze logs for suspicious activity.

Security Measure Implementation: Fine-tune and implement firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions to safeguard our systems.

Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Assessments: Identify security risks by conducting penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.

Threat Emulation: Simulate real-world attacks to proactively test our defenses.

Reporting & Recommendations: Develop detailed reports on security risks and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.

Secure Architecture Management: Design and manage secure architectures to protect our systems and data.

Policy Development: Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to enhance our security framework.

Collaboration Across Teams: Work with IT and development teams to ensure security is integrated into all layers of our infrastructure.

Mentorship: Train and mentor junior security team members to build a stronger security foundation.

Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and new technologies to proactively enhance our security posture.
Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

5+ years of hands-on experience in security administration, particularly with both Blue Team (defensive) and Red Team (offensive) functions.

Strong knowledge of security architecture, network protocols, and security frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or CEH are highly preferred.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
