JOB TITLE: QA Specialist - System Testing

Job Description

As anAnalyst, Quality Assurance at Castus, you will be responsible for supporting our I.T. team to ensure all the projects we develop and deliver meet the highest standards of quality assurance. Working with various stakeholders includes Bug testing, and performance testing to ensure quality deployments, you will be responsible for working closely with the development team to sustain a vision that incorporates QAstandards. We are fast growing and lean team so you must be flexible in your testing approach and most importantly, you must have a desire to build a strong team that works well together, delivers quality results. You need to be passionate about testing thus a tester who believes that the best defense is a good offense and is always proactivity looking for ways to make our platforms better.

Successful Candidates Should Have

• Lead and coordinate the implementation of the project technical testing strategy and methodology. This includes testing of integration points and interfaces and non-functional requirements (e.g. component response times, data integrity, and security).
• Create manual test scripts to enable regression testing.
• Develop plans for the technical test phases.
• Optimize the use of resources, processes, tools, schedule, and test coverage.
• Manage the execution of all technical test phases (including non-functional requirements and integration testing).
• Conduct tests on integration points and interfaces and non-functional requirements (component response times, data integrity, and security).
• Assist with data planning as it relates to each test phase.
• Optimize processes and coordinate the development and verification of test data sets.
• Communicate test results regularly through automated reports that summarize test completion and defects found.
• Evaluate test results against phase-specific acceptance criteria to determine successful completion of the phase.
• Analysis, meeting participation, review of requirements and understanding of the functions/systems that will affect the change. Confirm testability of Test Basis artifacts such as: Business Requirement Documents and Design Documents.
• Execute testing as per plan and log defects. Maintain measurements and metrics on quality and effectiveness.
• Complete a test summary/closure report and implementation, documenting all testing activities for System Testing for all the projects, programs, and business to ensure successful delivery of services. Successful completion of all testing artifacts, and assurance that; they have been stored in the test management tool.
• Document implementation and closure report.

Educational Qualifications Required

• Full time or Regular Bachelor s degree or equivalent or specific relevant experience including BTECH, BE, MTECH, MCA and MSC / MS computer science.
