Description

As a Engineer, you will have an opportunity to direct and contribute to the concept, development, and design of complex hydraulic systems & components, subsystems, or processes while strengthening your analytical skills and mastery of engineering concepts. You will partner with and provide technical guidance to global teams. You will contribute to the planning and delivery of projects, continually learn and stay abreast of innovative technology, mentor and coach team members, and broaden your professional network.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience in Design & Development of theHydraulic Components for the Earth moving, Mining and Construction machineries& equipments.
  • Preferably in mobile hydraulic directionalcontrol Valve designs with the strong analytical skills & experience tomeet the machine system performance requirements and cost targets.
  • Experience in Valve body Castings (Monoblock/stack-up), Bolted Joints, static seals, Valve stem design, Slotprogramming, Cartridge valves, Manifolds, Spring designs, Materials,Manufacturing processes and Virtual Validation (CFD & structural).
  • Define and execute the Virtual, On machine/Benchvalidation plan through DFMEA, DVP&R.
  • Through knowledge in component Sizing, Selectionand Performance study. Knowledge about machine hydraulic circuit design andintegration.
  • Able to Conduct Concept and Detailed DesignReviews with the Engineering teams for NPI, NTI programs.
  • Conduct competitive bench marking at Componentlevel & System level.
  • Collaborate with the Global/Regional purchasingand manufacturing facility teams to support the product quality & costtargets, supplier process audit, sourcing, PPAP/APQP process validation.
  • Trouble shoot field failures, Warranty claims,factory issues and support Cost reduction project requires.
  • Experience in Project management, hands on Creo,Reliability & Warranty, Tolerance Stack-up and GD&T.
  • Responsible for Releasing and maintenance andmanage the Bill of material.
  • Preferred virtual validation engineeringexperience (Matlab, CFD, Creo Simulate).

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelors / Masters degree with 7-10 years of experience in heavy equipment electro hydraulic systems & components design.* Experience in earth moving or mining equipment is must.* Creo & Creo Simulate, Strong analytical skills
* Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks
