As a Senior Engineer,you will be working Engine Installation & Cooling package of various largemining products (Mining truck, Wheel Tractor-Scraper, Wheel loader, Articulatedtruck, Underground truck & loader) and you will have the opportunity todirect and contribute to the concept, development, and design of complexcomponents, subsystems, or processes while strengthening your analytical skillsand mastery of engineering concepts. You will partner with and providetechnical guidance to global teams. You will contribute to the planning anddelivery of projects, continually learn and stay abreast of innovativetechnology, mentor and coach team members, and broaden your professionalnetwork. You will lead NPI projects, responsible to deliver PQVC targets(People, Quality, Velocity & Cost), Maintain the Product Health throughresolving 12MIS/2MIS - CPI issues, will be involved in regional supplierdevelopment and support aftermarket/mine site services.

Skills/Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

* Perform Hose/Tube/Duct/Bellow design, Engine mounting structures/castingsand mounting brackets design (capable to do complex design in Creo). Must tohave hands on iron experience with these components.

* Perform Cooling components placement by checking the layout of thewhole machine along with an understanding of the cooling system/schematic andcreate concepts to further evaluate and select.

* Ability to provide detailed interpretation of cooling schematics andtroubleshoot on machine cooling systems.

* Actively support a prototype, pilot, or production build andon-machine cooling system test.

* Validate Engine installation & cooling components selection &sizing.

* Perform thermal & CFD analysis to validate the systemperformance.

* Perform bolted joint analysis & Creo simulate or equivalent FEAanalysis.

* Effectively apply design related Advanced Product Quality Planning(APQP) steps

* Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, engineeringdrawings, manufacturing processes and Machine Bill of Material (BOM).

* Performs design calculations and accountable for design decisions.

* Research and develop new technology

* Perform needs analysis and initiate ideas. Evaluate new products,processes, or systems.

* Communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members, and otherbusiness units

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelors or Masters degree in MechanicalEngineering or equivalent
* Relevant work experience required: 10-13 years with Bachelor Degree or 7-9years with Master Degree or 3+ years with Doctorate Degree
* Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
* Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

* Strong project management skills Developing, maintaining andexecuting to a project management plan. Ability to develop & leverage aglobal network of engineering resources.

* Active participation in a Technical Society (SAE, IEEE etc.)

* 6 Sigma Black Belt & PMP Certified

* Experience in completion of full NPI program startto finish with focused responsibility on Engine installation & cooling andparticipated in iron validation at the mine site or proving ground.
