As an Engineer, you will begin to shift from learning and assisting to fully contributing to solving technical problems while growing your analytical skills and mastery of engineering concepts. You will partner with and provide technical guidance to global teams. You will continually learn and stay abreast of innovative technology. You will also continue to grow your professional network.Key job responsibilities :
- To Lead the team both in onsite and offsite on Detailing activities for Gensets & its components
- Coordinate with clients and understand project requirements and update progress
- Project tracking and monitoring and setting priority based on plans
- Ensure Drawing quality met as per the targets and work on process improvements
- Timely delivery of projects as per the planned delivery lines
- Train team on best practices to improve efficiency
- To work with offsite teams on drawing quality improvement and issues resolution
Qualifications
Key Qualifications- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of Overall experience and 3+ years Caterpillar experience
- High degree of familiarity with Caterpillar engineering systems, processes, and standards (EDS, Teamcenter, PRWB, Design Re-use, CREO, etc)
- Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks
- Strong customer focus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with global team and internal partners
- Should have Strong knowledge on Genset Packaging and its systems
