Senior BluePrint Developers for Drive Flex Automation: 6-10 Years Experience:

CDK is one of the largest technology providers to the automotive industry, with more than

26,000 dealer sites in over 100 countries and nearly 9,000 employees worldwide. From data

scientists and software engineers to sales and operations experts, we're hiring to support

your growth and ours.

Our Integrated Applications & Tooling team is seeking software engineers with 6 to 10 years

experience developing process automation scripts for application installation.

You will be automating workflows and application installation/provisioning

solutions for new and existing CDK products. Our automation platform, Proton, is built

in Python and implements BluePrints - a powerful automation scripting platform. Our

development environment is agile scrum with 2-week sprints, which means that we conduct

short, focused iterations to quickly respond to customer technology needs. We are seeking

motivated self-starters with significant scripting and software development experience

who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prefers working in a fast-paced development

environment. We are looking for fast-learners who can work well on energetic, collaborative

teams.

Job Responsibilities:

o Expert-level development of Proton-Blueprint scripts for workflow, process, installation,

and provisioning automation for CDK delivered business applications.

o Rapidly learn the Proton-Blueprint scripting platform, rapidly apply Proton plugins and

tools in Blueprint scripts; test and validate scripts in both test environments and

production.

o Support teams to analyze, understand, document, and automate diverse, existing

people-driven application installation processes.

o Work with internal teams to deploy, train, debug, fix, maintain, update advanced

automation systems.

Ideal Candidate has the following technical skills:

o 6 to 10 years experience with expert knowledge of Python software development.

o 6+ years experience developing scripts in Python, Javascript, Shell, Perl, etc.

o Senior level expertise with relational databases and schema design; SQL expert.

o Knowledge of multiple APIs and API approaches, Expert with RESTful APIs and JSON.

o Senior experience with Linux, Linux shell, and software development.

o Senior experience with software development, debug, test, and documenting

on Linux platforms.

o Senior experience with Agile-Scrum software development process, writing stories

and epics; scrum master experience desired.

o Salesforce API SOQL experience desired.
