Lead UI/UX Designer - P3/P4

Job Description:

We are looking for a Lead UI/UX Designer. The main job role will be to create product design including web and mobile products.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead user experience and user interface design for digital products, which includes:Creating and maintaining all user experience documentation (site maps, user flow documentation, wireframes, etc)
• Creating customer-focused designs for both native, iOS apps and responsive/adaptive web engaging responsive/adaptive for all screen sizes
• Leading grass roots usability studies or user testing
• Designing and prototyping interfaces that are modern and fresh
• Leading the team on new and evolving UI/UX practices, such as Material Design
• Provide design support, and drive creative ideation and new ideas across the business
• Partner with the Business and Technology team leaders
• Stay abreast of evolving Industry, Device, and emerging Trends & Technologies
• Develop leadership skills through mentoring and training other designers
• Mentor other designers - manage their performance and career development
• Own small, medium and large projects across the business

Skills Required:

• Highly proactive, collaborative and self-motivated.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to influence others.
• Obsessively organized.
• Understanding of front-end development tools & techniques HTML5, API, Media Queries, CSS, and JavaScript is a huge plus.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in Creative leadership in area of Digital, Mobile and/or UX/Product design.
• 6+ years of experience in Creative Design in area of Digital, Mobile and/or UX/Product design.
• Strong creative portfolio demonstrating examples applicable to digital Creative and Mobile product design
• Ability to consistently create visual solutions from initial concept through final completion.
• Understanding of current UI standards for the web & mobile, including adaptive/responsive web design.
• Proficiency in Sketch, Invision, Adobe Creative Suite, and UI Protoyping software (such as Principal for Mac)

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor s degree required; Interaction Design or related disciplines strongly preferred.
