Position: Database Administrator
We are looking for a detail-oriented, motivated, and organized Database Administrator who is excited to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a long-term contract position for someone with diverse DBA skills. The ideal candidate should be highly self-motivated, hardworking, innovative, and proactive in finding solutions.
Required Skills
- Experience with Key-Value, Wide column stores, SQL, and related technologies
- Experience working with SQL DB
- Experience with Query and Database Optimization techniques
- A proven track record and expertise in database management techniques
- Previous experience supporting/administering SQL DB is preferred
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, and .NET framework
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving programs
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
- Highly motivated
- Ability to take initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Required Experience
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
