Role:? Senior Software Engineer

?

With your exceptional technical skills, you can design, administer,developandintegrateCheggs marketing tools toachieve the business goals of customer acquisition, conversion, and attach. You can systematically and methodically identify dependencies, develop, document, and UAT the solution. You know how to step back and look at the big picture, as well as write specs for developers and roll up your sleeves to carry out projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities:

• Build robust and scalable data infrastructure (both batch processing and real-time) to support needs from internal and external users
• Primarily responsible for delivering high-quality technical designs and code for the product requirements in fast-paced agile scrum sprints.

• Work as an escalation point to troubleshoot any production issues
• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Demonstrable experience building robust infrastructure with our developer and data-driven business tools.
• Build tools to monitor systemscreated andsupported byMarTechincludingalertswhen systemsfall outside of defined SLAs
• Keep technical debt low by reinforcing our Engineering cultures established sound practices for ensuring code reviews, high test coverage, and documentation.

• Manage the implementation and maintenance ofCloudinary, our Digital Asset Manager

Requirements:??????????????????

• B.E.,B.Tech, M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 5+ years of industry experience in development with Java.
• 3+ years of industry experience with JavaScript

• Experience with Web Frameworks (JSF, Spring, Wicket, etc...)
• Experience in developing SOA style components with server-side development
• Strong experience with GNU/Linux system.
• Familiarity with employing creative uses of state-of-the-art technology solutions to enhance business processes
• Experience with Unit testing frameworks for TDD (Test Driven Development) methodology.

• Fluent in writing SQL queries for data manipulation
