Job Summary

The Technical Leader - EBS Applications will provide leadership and direction for the Oracle applications team. They will be responsible for mentoring the Agile Service Delivery team for Oracle EBS to fulfill the following requirements: Ensure technical delivery, tracking, and reporting of cross-functional, project-oriented work efforts, ensuring that projects and transformation programs are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and remain aligned to the strategic objectives Manage Delivery teams in order to deliver the projects and support as above. The position will directly report to the Senior Delivery Manager - Oracle Applications Build Testing COE capability in order to ensure automated testing tools are leveraged and extensively utilized for holistic testing. The position will directly report to Oracle Delivery Manager of EBS Applications Responsibilities Identifying, selecting and delivering projects, including involvement in benefits management and business cases, contingencies etc. Must have done one Oracle Fusion Cloud Implementation. Providing estimating, scheduling and risk management expertise to PMs Coordinating plans between projects and monitoring resource use Ensuring adherence to standards, methodologies and Testing Automation tools Provide organization-wide development and integration of consistent project management standards, best practices, and methodologies. Manage Technical Delivery team utilizing the Agile development methodology. Work closely with Delivery Owner, Service Owners, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners to implement local India Sprint team(s) for Application development and configuration Ensure that the agile team(s) apply best of breed software engineering practices including but not limited to Test Driven Development, Peer Reviews, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices, unit and regression test automation Convene regular review meetings to track and assess project portfolios with senior management and project sponsors and other stakeholders. Responsible for applying project management knowledge, best practices, skills, tools and techniques to technology deliverables, processes, and systems Escalation / Resolving of the pending issues & actions with respective stakeholders and co-ordination for its timely closure General Activities Build relationships with managers and staff across the organization to provide effective support and timely facilitation/management of all projects. Develop a team of high performing team members Establish priorities and assess performance against priorities for individuals and team Manage contractors and consultants as needed in support of projects and day to day operations Collaboration with stakeholders Collaborate with other application owners, solution owners, PMO Leads, IT security, application architects and business users Areas of impact Oracle Applications Project & Support Delivery Process Improvements leveraging IT solutions best suited to meet business needs Project & program delivery Technical Team management Experience Extensive Oracle Applications experience, including 5+ years of supervisory experience in managing at least 15-member Oracle Development teams Good project management skills Experience in Agile development preferably running Sprint teams in an Oracle ERP development environment Experience in a highly transformational culture and environment.
