How You Will Contribute: Ciena is looking for an energetic, highly motivated web technician to support our developer community. We re looking for a problem solver with excellent technical skills who can maintain our developer web portal. You ll also work with our writers and developers to ensure our content is up to date. Maintain HTML content on our developer portal Update web pages for each release Create CI/CD scripts for documentation projects Become an Antora expert Help with website improvements Project manage developer guides to ensure they are completed on time You ll be integral to the success of our 'early adopter' customers What Does Ciena Expect of You? The Must Haves Experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance Familiarity with DevOps concepts and documentation Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and ability to update documentation on a regular basis Ability to plan, schedule, and be flexible Experience with Antora, a static site generator for documentation Experience with Git, web development, and HTML/CSS Working knowledge of some programming languages, such as Java and Python Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Asciidoc a plus Self-motivated, self-directed, and capable of working both independently and in teams. BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
