Position Summary

Econnex is seeking a performance-driven Paid Media Specialist to lead the growth and optimization of our high-scale Google Ads campaigns. You will be responsible for scaling ad spend from $5M to $12M+ while maintaining or reducing CPA. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, deeply analytical, and highly experienced in executing and optimizing multi-channel paid media strategies across Google and other platforms.

This is a high-impact role where you ll be entrusted with significant ad budgets and expected to drive measurable performance outcomes through data-led decisions and marketing innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Campaign Strategy & Execution
    • Plan, build, and manage advanced campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Discovery, Performance Max).
    • Scale ad spend efficiently with a strong focus on ROI and CPA reduction.
    • Leverage AI-driven bidding strategies, audience segmentation, and dynamic targeting.
    • Expand into new channels including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, and Native Ads.
  • 2. Optimization & Performance Improvement
    • Optimize ad copy, creatives, keywords, placements, and bidding strategies.
    • Identify and reduce wasted spend using negative keywords, exclusions, and dayparting.
    • Improve CTRs, Quality Scores, and Ad Ranks to lower CPC and boost conversions.
    • Conduct A/B tests on landing pages and creative assets to enhance conversion rates.
  • 3. Automation & AI Integration
    • Use Google Ads Scripts, automation tools, and APIs to automate campaign optimizations.
    • Implement automated budget pacing and bid adjustments.
    • Develop real-time reporting dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • 4. Data Analytics & Performance Measurement
    • Use GA4, BigQuery, and Looker Studio (Data Studio) to monitor and analyze campaign performance.
    • Build predictive models to forecast CPA trends and adjust budgets accordingly.
    • Set up advanced attribution (e.g., Data-Driven Attribution) to optimize based on multi-touch conversion data.
  • 5. Market & Competitive Intelligence
    • Conduct auction insights and competitor benchmarking to identify performance gaps.
    • Research market trends and explore emerging paid media opportunities.
    • Stay current with Google Ads platform updates, policies, and best practices.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • 4 7 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing or paid media strategy.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale Google Ads budgets ($5M+ annually).
  • Expertise in Google Ads including Performance Max, YouTube, Display, and Discovery campaigns.
  • Strong working knowledge of GA4, Looker Studio, BigQuery, and campaign attribution models.
  • Experience using automation tools, Google Ads Scripts, and API integrations.
  • Solid proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization platforms.
  • Understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and audience targeting.
  • Experience with AI-based campaign optimization and predictive analytics is a plus.
