• Analyze, configure, and seek some of our customers' most ambitious issues.

Who You'll Work With

Our team works with Cisco Support and other teams within the Engineering organization to debug and resolve a wide array of issues encountered by Customers. You will also have an opportunity to guide new feature implementation from inception and design to implementation.

This team does it all, so you'll never be bored, and you'll constantly be learning new technologies.

Who You Are

You're a Software Engineer who has Excellent troubleshooting skills and a very strong desire to learn and develop technically.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

• Able to identify problems, acquire ownership and deliver solutions to improve customer happiness.
• Very strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience in Web Gateway products, web proxy, Web Security domain, Routing Technology based on Cisco: ASR1k, ISR4k, Viptela SDWAN Software Defined Networks
• Solid understanding of networking architecture such as routing/switching, IP,TCP/UDP, and application layers such as HTTP, SMTP, etc.
• Proven Python, Java, C or C++ skills
• Experience with Ethernet packet-based analysis
• Understanding of various design patterns and Microservice Architecture
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experienced in designing, building, and debugging large scale distributed systems.

Desired Skills

• Experience in an Agile environment
• Proficient with Web proxy - NGINX is a plus
• Understanding of HTTP service behaviors
• Experience building (and supporting) microservices
• Amazon Web Services
• Continuous Integration/Delivery tools (Jenkins, Docker, Chef, Ansible)

Educational Background

• MSCS/BSCS with 6+ years of development experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
