Job Summary

Mandatory Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in any one or more sub-sectors of Healthcare such as Payers, Providers, Life sciences or Healthcare Technology
  • Overall understanding of the key drivers in the industry Value Based Care, Cost Containment, etc. as well as major reforms happening in the industry M & A, Regulations, Consumerism, New technology (Block chain, RPA, AI/ML, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of at least 2-3 core systems belonging to any of the Healthcare players EMR/EHR/HIS, Claims adjudication, Benefits Management, Enrolment & Billing, PBM, etc.
  • Understanding of various Healthcare data standards such as HL7, CCD, QRDA, CSV, etc. and ability to extract, parse and process the data received in various formats o Knowledge of the Clinical/Financial/Operational KPIs for the Healthcare Players and identify innovative methods to improve these numbers Project Management

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with the data sets like Clinical, Pharmacy, Claims, billing data (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurance etc.) is preferred
  • 2-8 years of experience in Healthcare domain
  • About 4-5 years of hands-on experience with design, build, implementation and support of Healthcare IT systems for Payers, Providers or Medical technology customers
  • InterOp and FHIR

Job Responsibilities :

  • Understanding of the customer requirements along with identifying the risks, gaps if any and Translating business requirements into functional specifications for software development
  • Working with the development team to build and translate functional requirements in technical requirements
  • Scope, groom and prioritize work to ensure releases meet business value
  • Liaise between customer and offshore development team to understand, refine, and manage project expectations
  • Assist with researching key areas, POV, Thought Leadership articles, blogs and case studies o Provide required support to the Sales team with new proposals, responses to the queries and preparation for customer meetings
  • Provide support to Proficiencies and Practices in building new tools, accelerators, solutions, etc. based on the needs of the industry
  • Conduct periodic training sessions for peers for efficient knowledge management
