Job Description

As aSr. Software Engineer Native Android, you will be part of an agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards. Your key responsibilities include:

• Working within a globally diverse team across different time zones.
• Designing, building and maintaining efficient, reusable and reliable code
• Developing UI elements and integrating with APIs
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
• Optimizing code for performance and scalability.
• Identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to address these
• Helping maintain code quality, organization and automatization.
• Assessing technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Ensuring high performance and responsiveness of requests.
• Writing high quality solutions that scale

Education

• Engineering Degree - BE, BTech, BCS
• Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong working expertise in native Android app development
• Experience in iOS development is a plus.
• Experience in deployment of apps on App Store / Play Store.
• Ability to perform independently as well as in a team.
• Experience working in Agile model.
• Flexibility to learn and work with any mobile technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills

• Experience in at least one of the cross-platform / hybrid technologies like Ionic, React Native, Flutter or Xamarin
• State management in mobile applications
• Security methodologies in mobile application development
• Experience with offline storage, and performance tuning.
• Experience to work on plugin integration.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT
• Prior experience of working with healthcare applications will be an added advantage.
