Job description

Prior experience that gets you closer to being the right fit.

• Create complex, enterprise-transforming business applications as a member of diverse, high energy teams focused on full life-cycle development
• Work closely with Product Managers, Technical staff members, and Project members to develop new functionality from business specifications
• Get involved in the entire lifecycle including analysis, development, fixing, and monitoring of issues on the assigned Cleartrip product lines
• Use the latest tools and techniques (currently Java/J2EE, XML, REST, SOA, CI, EAI tools)
• Do hands-on coding and proactively mentor developers
• Work in highly collaborative teams that strive to build quality code and provide business value
• Continually learn, mentor, and develop your career
• Focus on clean high-quality code and solid designs
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Write and execute unit tests cases for the developed functionalities

Desired Skill-sets:

While we dont expect you to check all the boxes, experience in these areas will be directly relevant to your work here. You are not expected to arrive as an expert :)

• Overall 3+yrs strong product development experience
• Experience with Java, Spring Framework preferred
• Solid experience with databases (Oracle/MySQL) is a must
• Excellent OO and design skills
• Familiar with Web technologies like AJAX, CSS, Javascript
• Experience of Project Delivery and Team Leadership
• Experience with Test Driven Development within a continuous Integration environment (Lunt, CruiseControl, etc)
• Experience of working in an agile environment
• Experience of leading small project teams and accountability for project delivery
