Quality Assurance Engineer Job in Cloudcover

Mission

• Work on the flagship products of CloudCover
• Be the gate-keeper to ensure high-quality products go out into the market
• Designing a robust automation framework
• Executing the smoke functional & regression automation scripts
• Design & troubleshoot the automation scripts
• Engaging with the Product Development, Services team to ensure test cases coverage, executing them, reporting defects and tracking the same

Required Skill Set

• Manual and Automated testing experience in-
  • Unit Testing
  • Testing User Interfaces
  • Web services & Integration testing
  • Performance and load testing of API s
• Knowledge of TDD, NodeJS (Promise), JavaScript, DOM, HTML, CSS
• API based testing using an advanced REST client
• Tools for unit testing and integration testing of UI elements: nightwatchJS or JEST.
• Experience setting up dashboards for monitoring
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test scenarios
• Web Product testing experience

• Knowledge of Go-lang, NodeJS, Java, Python
• Automation testing: Jenkins, DroneCI
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines: Gitlab, Gitlab runner
• Having worked with Cloud providers: GCP, AWS, New Relic,

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Manual & Automation testing
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
• Outstanding communication, presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
