Position Overview

Position: Chief Security Officer (CSO)
Band: C
Designation: AGM/DGM/GM
Department: Security
Reporting To: Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO)


Qualifications

Essential: Candidate should have Bachelor s degree in any discipline from recognize institute

Desirable:Bachelor s degree in security management or related field (MBA/Management or relevant certifications preferred) will be preferred.


Experience

Essential: Minimum of 15 years of experience in security management, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.

Desirable: Army or para-military experience is considered an added advantage.

The Chief Security Officer (CSO) is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing security strategies to protect the organization s assets, personnel, and information. The CSO will lead the security team, conduct risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with various departments to integrate security measures across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Strategy Development -Design and implement a comprehensive security strategy that aligns with the organization s goals and objectives
  • Risk Management-Conduct regular risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop action plans to mitigate potential risks.
  • Policy and Procedure Development -Establish, enforce, and regularly review security policies, procedures, and standards to protect organizational assets.
  • Incident Response-Develop and lead incident response plans to address security breaches, including crisis management and communication strategies.
  • Compliance Management-Ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations related to security, data protection, and privacy.
  • Team Leadership -Recruit, train, and manage the security team, ensuring a strong security culture across the organization.
  • Collaboration with Internal Departments-Work closely with IT, legal, HR, and other departments to implement integrated security measures.
  • Monitoring and Reporting-Oversee security monitoring systems and prepare regular reports on security metrics, incidents, and actions taken for senior management.
  • Budget Management-Develop and manage the security budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Continuous Improvement-Stay informed about emerging security trends, threats, and best practices to enhance the organization s security posture.

  • Allied Services Responsibilities

    • Facilities Management: Ensure the availability of internal communication facilities, including the telephone system, postal, and courier services.
    • Transport: Oversee internal company and rental transport services for employees.
    • Employee Engagement: Facilitate and organize social, cultural, festival, and sports events.
    • Horticulture: Ensure environmental preservation and maintain the plant s greenery index.

    Liaison Responsibilities

    • Maintain effective liaison with local police administration and government agencies.
    • Keep track of changes in rules, policies, and legislation, and inform management accordingly.

    General Requirements

    • Age: 30-45 years.
    • Compensation: CTC not a constraint for the right candidate.
    • Notice Period: Max 30 days (Notice period buyout can be considered if required).
    • Languages: Fluent in English, Hindi, and a local language.
    • Job Stability: Candidate should have a stable work history and not be a frequent job changer.

    Qualification :
