Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the Fleet and Transport with a broad focus on Operations, Logistics, Manpower Management, day to day Administration issues etc
  • Effectively handling Day to day Logistics, Operations, route optimization & maintenance
  • Fleet Management
  • Liaison with government bodies (RTO, Police and Local Municipal officials etc.)
  • Manpower Management & Handling Employee Relations matters
  • Effectively handle process related improvements
  • Hiring, Managing and developing a proactive professional team
  • Regular maintenance of vehicles & vehicle records
  • Regular check of vehicle fitness/insurance/RC Copy
  • Employee Engagement
  • Supervising Processing activities and adhere to processes to mitigate risk due to shortage of fleet or vehicle breakdown
  • Address grievances of staff pertaining to operation
  • General administration

Experience and Background:

Any graduate with 3-4 years of experience in the Transport and Fleet Management, Logistic or Courier industry; having experience of effectively leading large workforce of blue collared employees and experience of handling Labour Union.

Competencies:

  • Strong technical knowledge of Fleet management and vehicle maintenance
  • Ability to guide and influence manpower of ground level
  • Excellent time management skills and route management
  • Problem Solving
  • Ability to reduce maintenance cost
  • Vendor management
  • High level of integrity and honesty
