Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the Fleet and Transport with a broad focus on Operations, Logistics, Manpower Management, day to day Administration issues etc
- Effectively handling Day to day Logistics, Operations, route optimization & maintenance
- Fleet Management
- Liaison with government bodies (RTO, Police and Local Municipal officials etc.)
- Manpower Management & Handling Employee Relations matters
- Effectively handle process related improvements
- Hiring, Managing and developing a proactive professional team
- Regular maintenance of vehicles & vehicle records
- Regular check of vehicle fitness/insurance/RC Copy
- Employee Engagement
- Supervising Processing activities and adhere to processes to mitigate risk due to shortage of fleet or vehicle breakdown
- Address grievances of staff pertaining to operation
- General administration
Experience and Background:
Any graduate with 3-4 years of experience in the Transport and Fleet Management, Logistic or Courier industry; having experience of effectively leading large workforce of blue collared employees and experience of handling Labour Union.
Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of Fleet management and vehicle maintenance
- Ability to guide and influence manpower of ground level
- Excellent time management skills and route management
- Problem Solving
- Ability to reduce maintenance cost
- Vendor management
- High level of integrity and honesty
