Responsibilities

• To provide Proactive opinions & support on matters of internal and external security and safety to avoid any crisis and resulting business loss
• Assess operational risks in conducting business and corresponding mitigation of the same & enhancing the current controls
• To support the operations team in the new hire screening process, induction and orientation of standard operating procedures on safety and security
• To conduct surprise audits on compliance of SOPs pertaining to safety and security
• Participate in National projects with respect to Safety & Security audits, Training strategies including facilitating Train the trainer programs, inputs in Standard operating procedures etc
• On a need basis, support & guide other Regional security teams in any major crisis situations arising out of Loot, frauds or any other externally influenced emergency situations
• Assess effectiveness of current controls related to safety and security and suggest changes wherever required
• Responsible for time bound & speedy completion of the investigations into cases of fraud, theft, and robbery, including Liasoning with State Police authorities
• To facilitate and handhold the branch team with respect to the handling of Police complaints including filing of FIRs, investigation into theft, pilferages and robbery
• To represent the company along with our counsels, where we are the respondents in matters concerning statutory issues
• To liaison with the company advocates with respect to the various criminal cases filed in the courts
• Liasoning with statutory bodies to ensure legal/statutory compliance including MCD, Fire Force, Police, RTO, Labour etc. as and when required
• To continuously coach & educate our Managers on the Security, Safety and legal procedures/implications
• To conduct training on security related aspects
• To conduct the Security Audit at the laid down periodicity within the Area of Responsibly and report the observations in a quantitative and objective manner
