Senior Shopify Developer

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 6+ years of experience in Shopify Development

Job Description:

  • Strong knowledge of the Shopify platform.
  • Expertise in Shopify theme development and customization.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language.
  • Previous experience working on multiple Shopify projects from mid to high level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in working with different Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections, etc.).
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/ECMAScript 5/6 & jQuery.
  • Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design techniques.
  • Understanding of W3C web standards/semantics and accessibility guidelines.
  • Experience in debugging and testing software for cross-browser compatibility.
  • Develop custom Shopify apps and features using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and any backend technology.
  • Experience with third-party integrations and APIs.
  • Experience in theme installation, theme customization, plugin integration, and plugin installation.

Experience:

6+ years of experience as a Shopify Developer.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Education:
    • UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Computers, B.Sc - Computers, BCA - Computers
    • PG: Any Postgraduate (M.Tech - Computers, MBA/PGDM - Systems, Information Technology, MCA - Computers, M.Sc - Computers) - Post Graduation Not Required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working on multiple Shopify projects, preferably mid to high level.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and keeping up with the latest trends in web development and Shopify.
