Role: Consultant- SQL DBA

Experience: 8 to 15 Yrs

Skills: Sql DBA, Performance Tuning, High Availability, Log Shipping

Responsibilities:

Thisposition is a hands-on DBA role responsible for the management of the SQLServer database support across the globe within a matrix support and managementmodel.

Perform value add proactivework functions as assigned such as environment health checks

8-12years of solid technical experience in data centre on-premise/cloudenvironment specializing in database sphere, MS SQL latest versions, ORACLEexposure would be an added advantage and preferred.

Assist in the developmentand implementation of DBA processes, procedures and SOPs for SQL ServerDatabase Systems.

6+ years of direct hands onDBA support of Azure SQL Server database support alone and well versed with alldata modelling implementations.

Have at least 2-3implementation experience in Azure SQL Server, should be able articulate E2Eimplementation experience, with customer on-boarding

Excellent in writing andoptimizing SQL statements, strong T-SQL & PowerShell scripting.

Development DBA experience, including diagnoseof Database performance, health checks and monitoring, well versed with bestpractices in industry.

Ensure performance,security, and availability of databases

Work with Application Teamfor Code/Query tuning: adding/removing indexes, rewriting queries for betterperformance and so on

Knowledge of SQL Servermaintenance/patching mechanics.

Logging, managing, andresolving SQL Server SR's with Microsoft Support

Experience with CodeMigration tools is a plus

Administration and troubleshooting ofConcurrent Managers

Education- BE/ Btech/BSc/ME/Mtech/MCA/MBA/MSc
