About the Role

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will design and implement automation frameworks for integration, end-to-end, and generative testing, ensuring performance, reliability, and quality across deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and architects to design and develop test automation scripts.
• Create reusable, modular, and multi-thread-safe automation code.
• Improve non-functional automation performance by parallelizing test executions.
• Conduct test planning, defect lifecycle management, traceability matrix mapping, and security/breaking testing.
• Validate GenAI features such as prompt/response behavior, hallucination checks, and content moderation.
• Use GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot, Codium) to refactor, document, and enhance automation frameworks.

Required Skills

• Solid experience testing microservice-oriented and cloud-native applications.
• Proficiency with tools such as HTTP, Curl, Postman, Fiddler, Swagger.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C#.
• Working knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG).
• Hands-on experience with UI testing using Selenium or similar tools.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Ability to test AI-driven features and integrate AI tools into test processes.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with GenAI-enabled testing tools or platforms.
• Familiarity with fairness, bias, and explainability issues in GenAI testing.
• Big Data migration validation and reporting experience.
• Performance testing (load, stress, spike) using JMeter or Gatling.
• Experience in Security, Resilience, or Disaster Recovery Testing.
• Strong ability to validate GenAI outputs in automation pipelines.
