Job Summary
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS
Assists in bed making and re-positioning and back care of bedridden patients
Assists in bathing, mouthwash, dress change, drape patients to prepare them for daily routine care treatment, or examination
Answer patients' call bells and phones
Feed / assist feeding of patients who are unable to feed themselves.
Observe patients' conditions, measuring and recording food and liquid intake and output and vital signs, and report changes to professional staff.
Provide patient care by supplying and emptying bed pans, applying dressings and supervising exercise routines.
Provide assistance during walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed.
Assist in collection and transportation of specimens
Clean and maintain patient units and change bed linens.
Transport patients to treatment units, operation room and between departments using a wheelchair or stretcher.
Assists in setting up equipment such as oxygen tents, portable x-ray machines, and overhead irrigation bottles.
Qualification : B.Sc
