Job Summary

Core Responsibilities

  • Adheres to established project management processes and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) for theSecuritycommunity.
  • Makes decisions and takes timely independent actions in pursuit of project priorities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business goals.
  • Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments.
  • Manage resource demand, budget, timelines, and escalate issues.
  • Monitor work progress and effective manage of key project milestones.
  • Manage and communicate risks and impact to scope, budget, and resources.
  • Reports project status, timely and effectively, using escalation, issue resolution and effective communication.
  • Understand the product and organizational impact by partner with Stakeholders.
  • Manage project change request impacting scope, time and budget.
  • Motivate and drive for results that promotes team collaboration.
  • Has a strong background and understanding of software, technology and operations.
  • Serves as primary point of contact for project team.
  • Resolve project issues to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction expectations.
  • Responsible for overseeing and consolidating overall project status reporting to executive management.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and prioritize work requests for effective resource management.
  • Contribute to, support, and promote identification of best practices, and use of all project management tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of applicable experience; Preferred majors and minors include Computer/Management Information Systems, Information Management & Technology,
  • Results-oriented team player.
  • Experience with Project Management Tools such as MS Project, Visio, Jira, MS Office, SharePoint, etc.
  • Excellent people skill and communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile (Scrum and/or Kanban) methodology.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)orSix Sigma Green belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Scrum Master or Product Owner certification
  • Experience in obtaining resources needed to effectively complete project assignments & tasks in a matrix organization
  • Seasoned project planning skills with the ability to handle large workload, the ability to anticipate required tasks & milestones, and facilitate the activities of dynamic, dispersed workgroups
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

EDUCATION:

  • Requires BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
