Technical Writer Job in Contis Group Ltd

Job Overview :

Technical Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality and understandable documentation with the goal to improve the success of our products.

Responsibilities & Duties :

• Work and collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering, Product and Business Teams to produce and maintain world-class documentation, including User Guides, Integration Guides, API Developer Guides, In platform documentation (tooltips, welcome instructions, etc.).
• Learn complex concepts and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and understood by users.
• Gather customer feedback on documentation to improve usability.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.
• Maintain a library of application documentation, cataloguing it for internal and/or external use.
• Identify problem areas or structural deficiencies and proactively contribute to their improvement.
• Publish release notes to internal and external stakeholders with information on product updates, releases, and fixes.
• Write technical documents in compliance to the company s established standards and guidelines.
• Analyse existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
• Create and maintain the information architecture

Skills & Knowledge Required :

• Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
• Advanced knowledge of technical writing standards
• Excellent communication, writing and editing skills in English.
• Must have good analytical and presentation skills.
• Quick learner of functional products.
• Must have an experience on Visio, Flow charting tools.
• Advanced working knowledge of tools applicable for preparing required diagrams, prototype UI screens would be a plus.
• Must have an experience on writing API documents and developer guides.
• Previous Experience of working in Banking domain would be an added advantage.
