Senior Devops Engineer Job in Cornerstone Ondemand

This is an exciting opportunity to join our global organization as a Senior Software Engineer working in a cross-functional team focused on building infrastructure on AWS and implementing tools for continuous deployment (CD).

In this role you will...

• Work in a small, cross-functional group, supporting application development teams with a wide variety of technical projects.
• Offer strong technical leadership to support Cornerstone s ongoing migration to AWS, continuous deployment, and a microservices architecture
• Create build tooling to support fully automated testing and deployment of application components across a large number of environments
• Work with other functions to ensure our requirements for quality, security, and scalability are met
• Help application teams build their AWS infrastructure following infrastructure as code principles
• Prototype solutions to technical problems as they arise, and work with application teams to apply lessons learned
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to complete large, cross-functional projects, and support company-wide technology migrations
• Work independently with minimal supervision, and provide leadership and mentorship to other software engineers.

You ve got what it takes if you have...

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of engineering experience, ideally with a focus on infrastructure or build tooling
• Up-to-date experience with C#, Java, Python, or another popular programming language
• Hands-on experience with CI tools, such as Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and project details
• Experience delivering software in a Lean or Agile environment.

Extra dose of awesome if you have...

• Up-to-date experience with Python and Groovy (Jenkins)
• Experience setting up automated pipelines for continuous delivery
• Real life experience with continuous deployment in a high-pace environment (multiple production deployments a day)
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Good understanding of Docker fundamentals
