Senior Software Engineer - .net Job in Cornerstone Ondemand

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a seasoned software engineer who can contribute to and help support our ever-expanding infrastructure across geographically distributed SaaS cloud offering. Sound exciting? As a part of the Infrastructure & Tools department you will develop software solutions, frameworks and tools in close collaboration with other internal agile engineering teams that enable other internal teams to speed up their time to market.

This critical position provides greater visibility and individual growth potential for an ambitious Software Engineer, but also requires proven experience with exponential growth on a global scale.

In this role you will...

• Develop software applications, tools and frameworks that help improve overall system reliability, reduce latency and increased scalability
• Work on common frameworks and drivers for caching, distributed processing, log analyzers to detect system anomalies etc
• Deliver tools to monitor and analyze large scale infra systems/microservices running on the Amazon AWS Cloud Platform
• Collaborate across internal teams (engineering, operations) to create feature priorities to deliver software and infrastructure changes into production environments
• Conduct peer reviews, code-merges, deploy code to internal & external systems
• Help define best practices for source control, continuous integration, automated testing and release management
• Estimate and implement new versions/features of tools and frameworks

You ve got what it takes if you have...

• BS/MS/MCA in Computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience developing using .Net/Java and/or equivalent
• Experience developing services using modern API standards such as REST
• Experience with SQL RDBMS (Oracle, MSSQL) and No SQL databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB etc
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Strong communication and analytical skills to help solve complex problems in an enterprise environment

• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code, CICD methods, Jenkins etc
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Experience working in AWS cloud using native tools such as CloudFormation
