In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for mobile applications to ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, design, and develop test automation strategies for mobile and web-based applications
• Build robust and reusable automated test scripts using Appium with Java, WebDriver, and TestNG
• Troubleshoot object identification and dynamic object handling using locators, index properties, and regular expressions
• Manage test data and configuration through framework constants and configuration files
• Design end-to-end test scenarios, emphasizing code modularity and maintainability
• Generate HTML reports with logs, screenshots, and detailed execution summaries
• Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub
• Execute test batches through automation scripts and batch files
• Analyze and report test coverage for both functional and automated tests
• Investigate defects and identify root causes to enhance software quality
• Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and product managers to continuously improve the quality of releases
• Write SQL queries to support test validation and data setup
• Communicate test progress, issues, and risks to relevant stakeholders in a timely and effective manner

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
• 2 4+ years of experience in mobile application testing (iOS and Android)
• Proven expertise in Appium automation with Java
• Solid experience in both manual and automated testing
• Familiarity with web and mobile app testing, WebDriver, and API/WebService testing
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestLink, TestRail)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in an Agile team setting
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills:

• SQL proficiency (MySQL, Oracle)
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments
• Familiarity with JUnit, TeamCity, and additional test automation tools
• Knowledge of Selenium for cross-platform testing
