Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Define strategy for DevSecOps advanced best practice
  • Lead and oversee team members performing various Devops functions
  • Support the development team in applying the DevOps strategy in the end to end product development
  • Anticipate scalability/security problems and future technical needs and take necessary steps to address issues.
  • Build, deploy and maintain cloud architecture utilising Terraform
  • Implement Service Mesh using (Istio/Ambassador) for east-west traffic
  • Ensure all applications are safe and healthy using observability tools for logs, metrics, traces and events as well as APM tools
  • Oversee team members performing IT related tasks like SASE/ZTNA

Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Must have worked with Terraform
  • Must have worked in Kubernetes
  • Must have implemented & maintained various AWS services like AWS EKS, EC2, Lambda, Kinesis, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS
  • Worked with Service Mesh like Istio/Ambassador
  • Excellent at resolving issues in distributed systems (e.g. downtime, alerts related to infrastructure events like a disruption in database etc.)
  • Familiar with automated configuration management and deployment tools (such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
  • Familiar with Python/Go language
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) skills
  • Good analytical skills and effective stakeholder management
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Entrepreneurial at heart and likes to take ownership

Experience: Must have at least 6 years experience as a devops engineer

Work Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: WFO
